This is a typical Cosmo cover, taken at random as it was used in a different story, but look at what it shouts out to women to get their attention and interest.
Its all superficial bullsh-t, how to lie, how to deceive, how to get an orgasm ans s3x s3x s3x.
Note the lack of stories on genuine self-improvement, how to help others, how to improve society, how to make others happy, how to improve family life, how to be better informed about the world or anything that's not about the immediate self-gratification of the woman.
Is it a chicken and egg situation where the magazine reflect the interests of women or is creating a mindset of selfishness and self-absorption in women.
More likely its a self-reinforcing narcissistic onanistic spiral into egomania eagerly participated in by both sides.

whats wrong with that? in the ends up being all about pleasing the man....you must be a flaming homo if you have problems with that.
Oh, are you really this f-cking stupid? Seriously? I though you were a doctor or something. There are other magazines for news, broadening your horizons, and laundry tips.
Women spend a sh-tload of time making others happy and taking care of family life stuff (grocery shopping, cleaning, getting the kids off to school, bulk of the cooking, etc.
However, Cosmo isn't aimed at wives and mommies. It exists to sell makeup and shoes to young, single women with disposable income for small goodies. "You deserve orgasms" goes along with "you deserve this new mascara."
So they show a 17 year old with photoshop enhanced breasts showing a lot of cleavage and sitting with her legs widely spread, yet would cry out a man is a pedo for looking
