This new roll, which I just opened, has foil that's thinner and a lot flimsier than the last roll. So, sometime in the last 2 years, Reynolds Wrap went from being a quality product -- a top name brand, too -- to being total sh-t.
What other brands have cheaped themselves out recently? It's a sad phenomenon.

I have a an old brown tupperware bowl from my gramma. I use it every single day and except for missing its rubber foot ring it is as good as new, right down to the fine measure grads on it. Oh, its as thick as an old iron pot, they don't nake plastic like that anymore.

I have some 50 year old Tupperware containers I inherited from my Mom. Tupperware has always been a very high quality product. Will last literally forever as long as you don't microwave it or put it in the dishwasher.

My Grandmother has a Tupperware cake keeper she has owned since Tupperware first came out on the market. Has a cartoon seal on the logo

I have a 46yo d-ck. Still works like a charm. Maybe not microwaving it or running it through teh dishwasher is the secret?

High end toilet paper (cottonelle) cheapened the quality. I had an old roll to compare with a new package. The paper was alot less soft, almost scratchy feeling. They somehow cut corners.
This is what companies do when producer prices increase, but they can't push through price increases.

There was an on-line conspiracy theory that Gillette starts using cheaper steel in their blades before introducing a new, more expensive product. I noticed that the Fusion blades last about half as long as they did when I first bought the razor.
